Does anyone know where I can get some Rear speaker stands from? The only ones Ive seen are in JBhifi for $220.

I got some wooden assemble yourself with an allen key type from tandy about 18 months ago.I think they where $35 each.

the shop where i bought my gear from has some plastic smokey colour stands that look pretty cool.

I went to Jaycar today they only had two types of stands the 1st ones were way too flismy and the 2nd were yucky. I want some bloody standssssssss.....:mad:

Mine are sturdy and finished in black,they match my black speakers perfectly even down to the same size at the base.I can send you a webcam pic if you want.

There are a number of companys making quality home theatre furniture, trouble is it's expensive. I would say if your'e a bit handy, make your own stands, I did for my lounge set up. For my other set up I mounted on the wall.

Yeah sorry I didnt get back to you. The only thing is I need taller stands that are adjustable up to about 1500mm.

1500??Thats not a stand you need wall brackets.:eek:

The Loudspeaker Kit Company (http://www.theloudspeakerkit.com) in Melbourne has adjustable rear stands that
go up to 1000mm for $140.
No affiliation, never bought anything from them, just thought
you might like to know.
