Moroder's Metropolis question

the recent release of the R4 2-disc set has me all fired up to revisit the
Moroder film again ...... and the fantastic thing is: If I decide to copy it
using a DVD recorder, being a silent, any glitches with lip-synch won't
matter

:)

Does anyone know if this film ever got released onto Laser Disc? Also, does
anyone have it or a top-notch VHS of the film for sale?

Yes, the Moroder version was released on LaserDisc in the US. I have a copy
here in my sad, neglected LaserDisc cupboard :-)
