hi,
I am leaving Australia and would love to transfer my membership to the fitness first group in my destination country but unfortunatly they do not allow this type of transfer.
I was going to cancel the membership when I found out that I can transfer it to someone else for $50 then they take over the contract.
There are around 6 months left on the contract and the price is fixed at $60 per month, it will never increase provided you dont cancel the membership.
After the 6 months you are not obligated to continue the contract but you can if you wish on a month by month basis, ie you either cancel or get one more month then you can cancel or get another month ect....
They have gyms all over australia check out www.fitnessfirst.com.au to find out the locations. The membership I have is a passport membership which means you can use it at any location. Im not 100% sure if the transfer allows me to transfer to a non melbourne residant and this stage but I will find out ASAP.
I would pay the transfer fee and the contract would start 1st of Aug.
You would then pay via DD (auto deduct) or I think CC is also accepted.
