Well, there's less than an hour left in the day, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to 2 of our regulars, Tsargrad(orko007) & Sauceman.

So, Happy Birthday and all that crap guys.:dD

Thanks dudes.

DVD Scores.

Andrei Rublev (Criterion)
Basic Instinct Unrated

and with some B'day funds received I have ordered

Eisenstein The Sound Years (Criterion) frigin about $90..

And hopefully when I have a joint b'day celebration with some family members, they'll provide cash and so with some b'day money waiting to be spent I am thinking of getting:

The 4th Man (R1)
Keetje Tippel (R1)
Soldier of Orange (R1)

Stalker another Tarkovsky masterpiece on R2

I thought you already had this Tsargrad? Does it come with Pen that looks like a Ice Pick or something?

I thinks I might have to get this on my next order- been a while since I watched Basic Instinct(might of been on Ch.9 I think).
Would be even better if it was released locally :o .

Yeah it comes with the ice pick pen, and the case is like a chunk of ice.. Quite a nice gimick.

Change back to Orko !!!!!!!!!!!!! He-Man was culturally more important.

"Eisenstein The Sound Years"???? -you really derive enjoyment from that? University film lecturers only watch that stuff cause they have to ya know:p

Happy Birthday Orko

I'm still waiting for Criterion to release some John Cassavetes films. Now there's a true american independent that screams for the criterion treatment. Gena Rowlands rocks!!!!

Hey! Eisenstein made some cool films! Granted, I did watch them all in film class, but they were still really interesting.
