Sounds to be an actual limited run of Limited edition consoles, not like the silver PS2.
Maybe I should go looking for one and put it on ebay 6 months later. :p

I saw a chrystal Xbox at Electronics Boutique for $229. I think it came with game, controller and DVD as well. I think the sale might be over now though...

THat was the standard Xbox price, EB didnt drop the Crystal packs during the sale, Cheaped I got them for was $279 DSE Superstore. (But they have no stock, I a kmart yesterday that HAD 2 left).

i got mine for $278 or so from the megacentre in casula (they still had 2 or so left), but i do agree with what motivation said, they are becoming rare to get, i went through 6 shops to see if they had it, everybody said "sold out sorry"

Well i know of 3 toys r us stores in melbourne that have both the crystal and halo edition for $278. They also had quite a few of them too!
