Aladdin Live install probs

Hi all.

Just installed an aladdin live in my 1.2 xbox. When i boot i get the 3 reboots and then red/green frag. The blue light on the chip stays on, on the final boot, so i assume its powering up okay.

If i unplug the chip from the pin header the xbox boots as normal.

Is it possible the modchips bios is stuffed?

Sound like you have a bad solder point on your LPC header.

I've checked it many times. I've contacted the supplier and its very likely its a dud chip. Got a replacement on its way :)

I had a similar problem with a few Pluses, I contacted Divineo (Global Distributer) they told me the Header was just for programing (Total BS!!), in other words they have dodgy sockets. Once the chips were installed with the quicksolder method they worked a treat.
