Hi all,

Picked up a cheapy Tevion superflat 68cm from ALDI late last year, wasn't
too bad for the price, and it uses a Panasonic tube (I saw a label through
the vents at the back ;). However the display does have some
'pincushioning', mainly at the bottom (it curves inwards)... does anyone
know of any way to rectify this, via any sort of service menu (i.e. does
anyone know how to activate it's service menu)? Sorry I don't really have
any more info about it...

Thanks,

In German (it tells how to get into service mode then adjust one of the
settings, I think, so only the first part is relevant to actually getting
into service mode)::

*g* "Service-Mode" ist passender: "Rote und Blaue Taste an der FB
damit zerschroten!*

In English (almost):

* g * "service mode" is more suitable: "red ones and blue one key to the
FB press and within 5 seconds ' - P
' at the same time and '/|+(Volume+) ' at the television press at the same
time and
release. Then: Arrow highlydown: Selection of the "einstellungspunkte"
arrow lefton the right of change of the values key of "ok one TV" service
mode
store "key" abandoned. If mans does not neednot exactly white which one
is to make, one should leave the fingers of it. If you want, I can zumailen
you times an appropriate note in scanning and. But caution: * One knows
the television thereby zerschroten!*

Sounds like red and blue keys together on the remote (which is the "FB"),
then - withing five seconds - Channel Down and Volume Up on the TV together.

Does that help?

Not sure yet, but thanks! My remote doesn't have a red and blue button
though... hmmm... oh well, I'll have a muck around anyway... thanks again...

Oh well, it was worth a shot. The red and blue would usually be teletext
keys, so I guess yours doesn't have teletext then.
