Philips tv

In the latest Harvey Norman catalog they advertise a Philips 92cm CRT widescreen tv for $3999. Not having seen a 92cm crt I went to have a look at this tv but they said they were still waiting on them to arrive. Cant see anything on Philips aus web site, they only mention the 86cm. Has anyone seen one of these tvs? Are philips a good quality product. The sales person indicated that the price would be negotiable for cash and this tv may be a better size and a lot cheaper for my family room than a 106cm plasma.

I've had a Philips 100htz 76cm wide screen TV for 18 months picture is perfect has lots of inputs at rear too. Been looking at big update myself to bigger TV or Plasma, finished up with a Infocus 4805 projector and a "2M" SCREEN!, maybe check this out at your local Infocus dealer, cost all up for Pj, screen, cables and ceiling mount was $3600.

92cm screens have 86cm viewable area. So they are the same thing.

does that mean that 76cm screens are really 82cm
