Hi,
I have just bought a Panasonic TX-86PW200A ($3200 DSE Powerhouse) and am very happy with the tv in general, however there is 1 thing I stall haven't been able to figure out, and a result I feel really, really stupid - so, I'm begging for help here!!

I am running my HD box, DVD, VCR (and a computer) all through a Kenwood amp, which I'm using to switch the audio and video... leaving the TV permanently on AV2 (or AV3 for the PC). I'm using RBG component for the DVD and HD, S-video for the computer and (here's the problem) the yellow video plug for the VCR - which doesn't display any picture, only BSoD.

I have tried it on other AV channels in the TV, but won't diplay any VCR pic. The only way I have been able to do it is via the RF cable, and tuned the TV to the VCR. (but this isn't switchable via my amp, which is what I'm after)

Has anybody else have trouble with using VCR on AV for this TV? I have read the manual, but frankly it's not brimming with information - other than to have the RF connected full-time, for what reason I don't know. (presumably because they know the AV's don't work? ;)

Any advice, or even a smack on the head for overlooking something stupidly simple would be appreciated!

Cheers,
Justin.

The Panny's won't accept both Composite and S-Video in the same input. If an
S-Video plug is connected, the composite does not work. Try unplugging the
S-Video and the composite will work. - At leats that is how it is on my
Panny's.
