Hi, my dad recently bought a Grundig Lenaro 76cm TV and is looking at
getting some surround sound speakers for it. Now the thing has a built
in decoder and amp and my dad, liking integration and not having too
discerning ears, wants to use this.

The inbuilt amp is pretty weak by most standards, total of 140W in 6
channel mode (I don't know how this is broken up per channel). But
nonetheless the room in which the TV is is quite small and the volume
will likely never be crancked very high. There is also an amplified
sub output which eats out of the 140W.

So what I want advice on is a fairly economical set of surround
speakers that would be suitable for use with this system. They'd have
to be small and decent looking with decent sound quality (I know not
to expect much). So does anyone know of anything that they can
reccomend I look at? At the moment I don't even know where to start
looking since the requirements are quite restricting (less than $1000,
work ok without much amp power, not a HTB with DVD player/reciever
unit).

Thanks for your help.
