Hi
Im looking to buy a subwoofer less than $1000.
Is the Jensen SPX-17 10" 160 W a good buy? Is it worth getting the SPX-19 instead?
Ive also seen a Jamo 10" 200W E8.
Are there any other subwoofers less than $1000 which are better than Jensen and Jamo?
Thanks in advance.

BTW
i had a listen to the Jensen SPX-17 10" 160 W and the Jamo E8 10" 200W woofers at JB and the Jensen appeared to have more bass while the Jamo seemed to "flubber" he said. Im not too sure if he played around with it to make it sound a certain way though. He basically recommended the Jensen over the Jamo saying that the sound quality is better with the jensen. Is this true? Or was he just trying to get rid of his Jensen stock?

I'm sure there may be better ones, but I can attest to the value of the
Jensen 17 - I bought it as part of a matching set of all Jensen speakers for
my HT setup. It certainly suits my purposes very nicely and I have yet to
hear it bottom out. I am no subby expert, and for me it was good value at
the time - haven't regretted it at all.
