Any one got a Toshiba 36SW9UA tv? I'm told they are TOP of the Line! I dont
want to regret this purchase. They have a listed retail price on the net of
$4,999.00 I have been offered $3500.00 as a special price what do you think?

I like the equivalent Panasonic at $3100 but all I have done is look
at them side by side in the shops.

Why a CRT? Its heavy and bulky, but much smaller than a projected
screen. LCD can have higher res but smaller. There are so many
compromises, that its a personal choice in the end.
Be warned that even a top of the line consumer CRT doesnt currently show
full 2Mpixel HD. Except for some computer monitors.
Were you able to find the full specifications? Dot pitch? Video driver
bandwidth? Is the 1080i input down-converted internally?

LCD projectors are expensive to run, can't be used in the day time,
get bad pixels and age quicker then CRT.
But they are really apples and oranges.

The Panasonic will have a fantastic picture by any standard.
