hI guys
Wondering if yu could help me out with your experiences on High-Definition set-top boxes.
I would be connecting to a Sony KVHR32M31.
Any suggestions please ?? I have read a couple of reviews on the Thomson DTI1500HD which seems to rate pretty well.
Any other ones I should be looking at ??
By the way, any comments (one way or the other) on either the Sony KVHR32M31 or the KVHR36M31 ??? I have been looking at the 76cm model, but that 86cm one sure looks impressive. Viewing distance would be about 2/2.5m so that shouldn't be a problem, should it ??

All comments gratefully received
Man thanks
Bagman

Sony HD Plasma's come with a Mediastar HDT-1100 box
Sony Cental stores sell them because the are a perfect match with Sony
screens.

See (click here to see)...>>>> http://www.mediastar.com.au/HDT1100/buy.html
Other models also available..>>>> http://www.mediastar.com.au

If you are short of space MediaStar in the answer there're the smallest HD
boxes on the market.

We have the Sony KVHR32M31. It's a great TV. The 86cm is better but it's
huge. I think it weighs about 100kgs. We sit about 2-2.5 metres from our
76cm and it seems big enough for us. The smaller one is a fair bit cheaper
too. We use a Topfield 5000 (SD PVR) and a Toshiba S25 (HD) and are happy
with both. The Toshiba is good because you can run your DVD player through
it if you start running out of component inputs on the TV.

My wife and I, plus our friends, must be deaf because we can't hear the fan
from where we sit (around 10 feet from our 60" Tosh).
