Is it just me or did channel 4:3 miss the mens high jump, triple jump and
hammer throw?
They were supposed to be on around the 100m time but they're not on my tape.
Did anybody catch them and what time?

According to talk back radio I heard while at work today, this is a sore
point with many. I wasnt watching so cant give first hand experience of
this, but callers stated that these were not shown.

The mens hammer throw was taped by seven and replayed last night with
new commentry on "The Dream"...


If you remember sydney you'll also remember how these other events
were glanced over...you had to be rerqally paying attention to catch
them all...

basically seven only cares when there's an Australian in medal
contention....otherwise it's shoved to one side..

i find SBS has far better coverage overall and show other countries besides
Australia in a lot of the sporting events

And again last night, no field events at all, endless volleyball, cycling,
softball (who would be interested in that for God's sake?).....

Not completely true. Last week they didn't show the Aussie girls in the
women's gymnastics finals. Sandy whats-his-name apologised afterwards
saying that htey could only show what the International Broadcasters
something or other had.. or some such shit.
