Wanted: Half Life / CS on PC

I'm after half life or Counter Strike for pc, any version. I basically just want to play CS, so any version will do as long as it can be updated from the net to support the latest version of CS.

Am not looking to pay much, but just thought there would probably be a lot of people out there who no longer need their installation CD's and will sell for cheap.

I have a demo disc which has an upgrade from Half Life to Counter Strike. If you have Half Life then that could work, if not then I would suggest buy it from EBay or a swapmeet.

I've had a look on ebay and it has been selling there as low as $3.25

Is your version ('Half Life: Counter-strike') the standalone version with just the online components of CS, HL?

As far as I can tell you can download Counter-Strike for free, but yes, you need half life to use it - which isn't free to download.

I just need any version of half life so I can download the CS mod.

Yeah sounds good. I'll send you the disc for $10 inc. postage but if you want the box and manual etc. it will cost you a few extra bucks. It is the full version will Half Life and Counter Strike.

I'd find somewhere cheap and buy it new, you buy a 2nd hand one and you might not be able to play online due to "cdkey already in use"
