EB won't stock the game seperately either, your best bet will be on ebay with people trying to make a few dollars buy buying the pack and selling the two seperately.

actually EB do sell VC seperately just not brand new copies look in their second hand section. Whenever someone trades the double pack in they sell them seperate, GTA 3 for $39.95 and GTA VC for $59.95, so they get more then the selling price for the pack new by selling second hand. I have seen this in 4 different EBs in Sydney alone. They do the same thing with Zelda Wind Waker on Gamecube that had the bonus disc, they always seperate them when traded in.

Ok, I'll rephrase then, E.B shouldn't be selling them individually. Neither have a barcode, and neither were allowed to be separated for sale, commercially at least.

they still do it and are ALLOWED to do it. I remember when Zelda : Wind Waker came out on Gamecube. It came with a bonus disc. At EB any copies that werent preordered were split, ie wind waker and the bonus disc seperate. EB then proceeded to sell Wind Waker for $99.95 and the bonus disc for $49.95 as pre-owned games the 2nd day of release. So making $49.95 above the RRP for each game. When I called up Nintendo to let them know they didnt care. And i am sure Microsoft would feel the same.

Ahh, for the day's when 'not for individual sale' actually meant something.

i bought the GTA double pack on Xbox today at Kmart for only $62. it was on sale with $20 off the marked price which was $96 and then they took a further 20% off the $76 (which they weren't meant to) which made it around 62 bucks :D
gotta love that price :)
