First be nice I am new....
I was in harvey norman on the scout for new home entertainment gear and stumbled accross a wireless media center made by D-Link the specs are below.
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=318#
I had a bit of a go and I must say i am impressed.. There has been a bit of huffle and buffle on the forum about the media qaulity being transmitted and other in's and outs with wireless home theatres and there capabilities but no one has jumped up who has one and has tested one and is happy.
I had ago and played a few music clips in DIVX format and they where being pumped onto an 80 CM TV, I must say the clarity was perfect and ran like a dream. So what I would like to know is if any one has one of these or used one either this model or similiar and what its qaulity is like in the lounge room all round?
The other question I have is can these just tap into a wireless access point or does there need to be a network setup as well.
I could be completley wrong about this but before I go out and shelve $400 bucks does any one have any better alternatives or ideas???? :) :dD :) :PI
