I think this thread belongs to both tech & bargain forums.
but i don't mind if a mod deletes one of the threads

just my 2c
the more people know about it, the better

Dial up users will benefit the most from it.

It's rare that MS ships free CDs.

SP2 CD is a single 475MB disk.
It would have been even better if there were also the latest updates for other OS like Win2000, win me.
SP1 pack came on 2CDs with those :(

So did I.

Pity SP2 screws my system!

It sends it into a cylce of reboots that can only be stopped by switching off. Just as well I had an up-to-date ghost image to restore from!

Yeah, that's a good thing, ever since they stopped giving magazines like APC the service packs to put in their CDs.

I'm on dial-up, so downloading the file is definitely not on.

I got my SP2 CD just a while back. It was all too easy to order it on their website, and recieve it a few weeks later. They shipped mine from Hong Kong FYI.
