Sorry it is not possible to mod the 30002 ps2, as it is the oldest model and doesnt chip up very well.

I have modded plenty of PS2 30002 models with no probs. As long as the laser is ok it will mod as good as any other PS2. It is a lot harder to mod and a lot of installers avoid them for this reason only. :dD
