Online, or offline doesn't matter. Well, if offline, I'd prefer it to be in Sydney :dD

Looking to see whats ort of prices Canon and Nikon lenses are going for before I make a final decision on which DSLR I'm going to buy.....

Already had a look at PICA, and Trading Post....also had a squizz at OCAU.
I'm guessing some of the photo website forums will be my next stop....

You might get lucky in a cash converters type store.

Some photography mags may have ads for second hand stores in the ads section.

Apart from ebay, there's a trading magazine called "Photograpic Trader" that sells for a couple of bucks in the news stands. Fletcher's in the city used to have lots of Canon stuff but now they don't - they still have lots of Nikon stuff.

Foto Riesel in the city seems to have the best selection these days, but even then their second hand shelves are mostly old equipment.

I bought my Canon EOS300D on ebay and it is FANTASTIC! (I think I'm in love with it!). I also got 2 good lenses. I saved over $500 on the camera (it was new from Hong Kong, and $125 on the lenses (used, in Aust). There is a wealth of stuff and most sellers are pretty good folk.

I've also bought a computer system and lots of software and haven't had any problems. It's a bit of a pain going through all their screens but worth it when you get something good.

TIP: Don't get caught in a bidding frenzy - decide a top price and stick to it.
Go to www.ebay.com.au and you'll be seeing items that are in Australia - if they are not it will be indictaed.

Good luck
