Which version of Voltron?

I like the one that ran in the 80s on the ABC where all the vehicles combined
to form Voltron. Plus they released that one in die cast metal

yeah I saw one today at EB in Chadstone the set looks like the azumi LE R2J packaging but no where near the quality of it. the price was around $59

Lion-Voltron had a die-cast version too. He also had the big plastic one
that figures could sit in, which didn't look as much like the cartoon, but
there was a much cooler metal one (or a couple of different sizes?) that was
very nice.

If you have a EB store near you give them a call usually if one has it the others do to, also tell them that devoted dvd in south morang have it for $52.95 EB should match this price with out making a fuss.

The release date for collection one is the 22/09 so JB in city should have it.

I have the plastic version, but i would love the metal one.

The one I have is all the vehicles form the first series of Voltron. MIne
was made by Matchbox and I've only opened the box once or twice. I am hoping
one day it might be a collectable.

Damn I read this after I pai the full $60. Oh well.

Not a bad set so far. Up to episode 4. Bit different to what I remember and on who controlled the lions from the start. I always assumed Sven was in the black lion. Guess not.

Picture quality is showing the age, so is the sound, which goes up and down a bit on occasions, but just having it on DVD is cool enough for me

What? I'm sure that in the first episode at least, all 5 male team members
were in the lions that matched their colour - Keith was in Red, Sven was in
black, Lance blue, Hunk and Pidge in Yellow and Green. The Sven left,
Princess Allura took over blue, Lance went to red and Keith went to Black.

Granted, I haven't seen those episodes since 1987 (yet I still remember all
the names), but I was *sure* that at one point, at the very beginning at
least, all the lions had pilots of the correct colour, with Sven in black.

Geez, now I'm even considering buying it.

And Madman appear to be releaseing the 1980s Astroboy soon too. Nostalgia
city.

Yeah I was certain of that too, until I watched it. Sven seems like a major dumb arse as well
