XMX888 divx & Xvid problems

I have recently purchsed this DVD player. Having trouble getting it to play Xvid or Divx files. Could anyone please advise me the best encoder to use & the settings that will get the files to play.

This player can't play files with QPEL or GMC enabled, have a look at this site for some hints to what works best http://www.xms888.tk/ if you want to have a look at your file properties grab a copy of gspot http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html once you find an encoder you are comfortable with you will find the results will be fine.

with Xvid file you can press "YPrPb" button and then press it again. Most likely the video would play fine then.
