Howdy all
Grateful for any advice re the following situation with my LG RT-32FZ60RB 76cm 100Hz CRT widescreen.
S-Video connections out of both my good Sony DVD player and a cheaper LG player give very good picture (luminance & colour saturation), but when I put it through component connection the image is definitely sharper, but all the darker scenes appear TOO dark - much face detail lost in, for example, Saving Private Ryan and Moulin Rouge :-(. Using decent quality NeoTech component cabling, and the LG TV picture settings appear fine. This is all very odd, as it happens with borrowed DVD players connected as well. Don't really want to just use S-video, as that's why I paid for a machine that can accept component input. Am I missing something very simple or do some LG devices have a problem with component input? I am hoping I don't have to join the LG service queue.......Anyone with similar experiences?
Cheers
Dave
