Pixels Gone Bad

I have recently noticed that I have lost a pixel due to a stuck mirror on my Toshiba DLP projector. Fortunately it is 3 pixels in from the side, and being an hi-res (XGA) projector it is fairly difficult to pick up unless you get close to it. The pixel is in the "off" condition (i.e. black).
I have read that it is rare for a DLP to lose a pixel.
I thought it would be good for a poll to see which technology is more susceptable to dead pixels.

I lost the lot my plasma disintergrated and was unrepairable
