I have recently seen comments made that for the best performance of an XGA projector, it should be connected to a PC running at XGA resolution.
Has anyone witnessed the difference in performance of an XGA projector being driven via a PC (VGA cable connection) compared to a DVD player (component connections)?
I have also heard that the PC XGA video output is always progressive ... is that correct?
If there is a noticable improvement in picture quality with the HTPC, I think I will upgrade my system.
