Hi all,
I'm a bit out of touch with the product reviews at the moment - can anyone tell me if there is a widely-considered, best DVD player at the lower end of the scale? I have a nice new Panasonic widescreen CRT but my old Harmon Kardon DVD21 (I say old - it's actually about 18 months old) does not have component outputs... When I bought it, component was a relatively new feature, and there was no way I thought I would be upgrading my TV in the near future. Of course I didn't realise how addictive this AV lark becomes ;-)
Stuff I'm particularly interested in:
PAL prog scan
Good MP3 user-interface and ability to fast-wind quickly through LONG (2hrs +) tracks
black in colour if poss
