Im a little confused as to what aspect ratio I should be using for DVD's with this projector.
Native, 16:9 and 4:3 modes all have black borders either top and bottom or all around. The only way to use the whole pixel grid is to use Letterbox with most movies however the image doesnt look as good with this option and the DVD menu's cannot be seen. Isnt the purpose of a 16:9 projector to display the movie using the full 16:9 pixel grid. The infocus already is low res and to watch movies using even less than the full resolution seems pointless.
I have my DVD player outputting 16:9 and have tried the others but its the same.
Should i be using Native mode for best picture quality?
Any other tips or tricks recommended for the Infocus 4805 or sites that are helpful in getting the best image possible.
Thanks guys
