I've got a Sony DVP NS575 and they're available in black or silver. It
cost less than $200 ($175 at JB HiFi) and it seems to do the lot.
DVD +/- R/RW
MP3 & JPEG
Progressive
Component out
DTS + Dolby Dig
etc etc...
