Hello everyone. I am going to Hong Kong this month and would like to ask anyone who's bought DVDs there. In general, I am after price comparisons & title availability. If anyone can provide shop names & addresses that would be helpful too.
Thanks.

Hi,
In HK you can find R1 available in HMV, but the price is almost the same as you buy online. They also have UK R2, our R4 and of course most R3 titles.
Most of them are located in shopping centres in Mong Kok (Kowloon), those are the cheapest place you can find.
Generally speaking a new release R1 (US version) is around HK$160-180. So in fact not much cheaper at all. Last time I went to I only buy a few R3 titles.
If you need more info email me jokelib@yahoo.com

For original VCDs they only sell for HK$40-50. Eg. JP III HK$42, Sherk HK$40. These are originals not pirates......
Also be careful because they sell pirate DVDs in the same shopping centres, of course you can tell the difference.
