digitrex gk4000 remote interference...

gotta say i love my new dvd player - BUT all my various remotes (tv, amplifier, stb) seem to randomly perform some function on the digitrex eg increasing volume on the amp makes the dvd player jump chapters. can anything be done (like changing frequencies) to fix this up?
also, this is my 4th standalone player, and the others all had a "mark" function that let me return to a particular point of my choosing on any dvd/vcd/svcd i stuck in them. can't find it on the digitrex and am wondering if it has such a thing?

I don't think this could be done unfortunatley.
Hope you find a fix for it, it must be very annoying....
