PS2 Region Free Hack ? Can a GameShark2 make it RegionFree?

I know about DVD REGION X... but is there a straight up hack ? And does a gameshark2 work 2 make teh ps2 region free somehow or a "Play-X DVD Remote???

The action replay goes into one of the memory slots

you load up a disc for playing dvds, choose the region you need, then follow the instructions.

mine isnt v2.2 only v2 but works well!

if you dont want to cheat in games. just get the region x. its half the price of the action replay. maybe even less now

when u say "load up a disk for playing dvd's " u just mean put the dvd in ? what big electronic stroes can i get region X ... CIRCUIT CITY ???/ BEST BUY ??? PLEASE RESPOND... thanks

hahah sorry what I have to do to get a non R4 disc to play is this:

insert the region x/action replay disc and boot it on the PS2

go to the region change menu

select the region i want to use

follow the instructions

for a non-boot disc solution. you will need a chip like a messiah or something similar. there is another better chip out now i believe, better than the messiah 2. pricey and hard to install, but im told its well worth the money

Im not sure where to get it from. you seem to be from the US from the stores you mention. or do we have them here in AUS? i dont get out much :P heheh

I can sell you mine for say, $25? I got it with the PS2 when i bought it, but I have a 2 worldzone dvd players now anyway, so I never really used it.
