System Restore Failure: Help!

i accidentaly moved a folder (about 10 gig of .wav files) in to another
folder by accident and windows managed to lose the contents. I couldn't undo
it and when i used system restore it returned the files but says that they
are locked and access is denied. I'm going mad over it, any ideas???
