View Full Version : Only "save" option is "*.bmp"

I am using IE 6.0 (SP2). Without any warning, I find that when I right
click on a JPEG, the "save as" box presents "*.bmp" as the only extension
possible. Also, rather then giving the actual file name, it is now
presented as "untitled."

Thanks for any suggested correction to this problem.

You will have to empty your cache.

Right click the IE icon > Properties > Temprary Internet Files > Delete
Files button.

Empty your Temporary Internet Files folder. In IE, go to Tools<Internet
Options...>General tab>Delete Files button in center section.
