mame on xbox?

As it says above how good is this on xbox? what sort of games can you run ie neo geo kof2001, metalslug series, killer instinct..anyone care to elaborate on this?

I have played around with a MAME emulator on my brother in laws XBOX for about half an hour. Most games work fine, with minimal slowdown. Most of the newer games didnt work at all even though the roms were there.

MameX works well on the xbox, I have a DVD with 3000 arcade games on it, 90% will run fine but some i.e. Metalslug 3 are too big for the xbox's memory. Anouther arcade emulator for Xbox FBAX has gotten around this problem by doing partial loads.
It great to play the old hits wonderboy, TMNT, goldenaxe. My next project is to build some arcades sticks for it.

Yes i thought it might of been memory intensive, i already have a mame project underway. I have purchased the x arcade 2 player version and a second hand arcade cabinet next thing to do is house it all in the cabinet...pc, gamecube, ps2......when i have finished it will be a all purpose arcade machine.....able to play the classics yet still play the new games with a flick of a switch.
