Can anyone help me with the Macro Vision on a DVX 252 DVD Player purchased from Strathfield. My elderly neighbour purchased one of these players and he has an old TV which only allowed me to connect the DVD up via his VCR. The picture quality is hence affected and I feel guilty as I talked him into buying a DVD player. :o

Macrovision cannot be disabled on this unit, you will need an external device to remove the macrovision signal. These are often called video stabilsers. Available from electronics retailers.

Or depending on the size of TV, for about the same price as a video stabiliser, a new small TV.
