Hitachi 55" any comments?

Hi all,

Have been looking at Plasma screens for a while now and lately the Hitachi
55" has appeared in Harvey Norman and JB stores. Does anyone know anything
about this plasma..eg. pros & cons etc.

The only thing I've noticed is that the Hitachi screen doesn't seem to do
the whites as good as some of the other brands. The snow high def signal
that they have showing in the stores shows this noticeably. Not sure
whether this can be adjusted or not but all the Hitachi screens seem to be
showing the same thing no matter the size of the screen.

Any comments would be most appreciated.
