I hope this is right, it was wrong in the girl bands. This time you are correct :) It was wrong in the girl bands because both girls had to play musical instruments and they don't they just sing which means they fall into the category of "vocal group", or in this case "vocal duo", not "band".
I have been very busy researching this topic for the past few days and I have made a couple of corrections and here are the reasons why
5. The Buggles - Video Killed the Radio Stars
The Buggles are: Geoff Downes and vocalist Trevor Horn, Bruce Wooley contributed to the song "Video Killed The Radio Star"
These names don't sound like twins :bah: Here is how I think the confusion arises: if you search Google for Buggles and Twins it will find The Buggles, however if you click the link for the stories you will find several articles about The Buggles and The Thompson Twins (who are not really twins either) grouped together in one article. Google finds several articles consisting of both artists, very misleading if you don't read the actual article :(
8. The Jackson 5 - Can you feel it? The Jacksons are
Brothers:
Marlon, date of birth 12 March 1957
Jackie (birth name: Sigmund), date of birth 4 May 1951
Tito (birth name: Toriano), date of birth 15 October 1953
Jermaine, date of birth 11 December 1954
Michael, date of birth 29 August 1958
Randy (birth names: Steven Randall), date of birth 31 October 1961
Sisters:
Rebbie (birth name: Maureen), date of birth 29 May 1950
LaToya, date of birth 29 May 1956
Janet, date of birth 16 May 1966
The confusion here probably arises from the birth date of sisters Rebbie and LaToya, it is the same day in May, but six years apart.
There are no twins in this particular Jackson family :bah:
Amended list including another set of twins no-one seems to know of:
Bands or duos that include or are Twins

2. BROS - Drop The Boy
3. The Blakeney Twins - Mad if You Don't
4. The Veronicas - 4ever
5. The Bee Gees - Words
6. Good Charlotte - The Little Things
7. Tegan and Sara - I Hear Noises
8. Nelson - (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection
Nelson is: Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, twin sons of '50s rocker and teen idol, Rick Nelson

THANK YOU DEBS!!!!!
I spent about 4 hours yesterday trying to remember Nelson. I knew they were the sons of someone, but couldn't for the life of me remember who. Could only remember the video clip, and those distinctive long blonde locks (http://www.sopheava.com/images/nelsons.jpg).
Phew... glad that's out of my brain now! :D

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Blakeney Twins listed earlier were the two singers in The Buggles. I have no idea who wrote or produced the song, but I know who was singing.

The Blakeney Twins were actors on Neighbours - they released one single in an attempt to emulate Kylie, failed miserably and disappeared into oblivion.
I very much doubt they ever even met The Buggles, let alone sang for them.

I know who they are. Gayle Blakeney was a friend of the girl I was going out with at the time. You'll find the song was released well before either appeared on Neighbours. (one was cast in the show several months before the other)
At the time of recording they were living in Brisbane and doing some Saturday kids cartoon show while still attending school.

The IMDB lists the Blakeney twins as being born in 1966 - Video Killed The Radio Star was released in 1979. So The Buggles got two 13 year old Australian girls to sing on their first single?

The Blakeney twins didn't sing in the '79 hit "Video Killed The Radio Star".
".....Debbie Doss.....sang on Trevor Horne’s and Geoff Downe’s ‘Video Killed the Radio Star’ with Linda Jardim. The Buggles asked Debi and Linda to perform in the video with other band members, keyboard player Hans Zimmer and drummer Warren Cann (from Ultravox). Debi was on tour with Hot Chocolate in 1979 when the song went to No. 1 and Errol Brown gave Debi a bottle of champagne and the day off to whiz to London to perform on Top of the Pops with The Buggles."
Here's the link to Debbie Doss' page http://www.spherestudios.com/debi/

Yes.
I'm out of this argument. I know what I know and even Rowdy's argument and references don't sway me. Sorry.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Blakeney Twins listed earlier were the two singers in The Buggles. I have no idea who wrote or produced the song, but I know who was singing. I'm amazed at the commotion I caused yesterday, however it wouldn't matter if it really was The Blakeney Twins, this topic is meant to be 10 different sets of twins, so therefore Ozeagle beat you to posting them. Thank you Rowdy for finding out who the girls were who sang on the song "Video Killed The Radio Star". Whoever it was would have been studio session singers and therefore not official members of The Buggles.
Thank you for your support and contribution Rowdy :) I spent so long researching the Jackson family that I didn't think to find out who the girl singers were who sang on Video Killed The Radio Star :o
I spent about 4 hours yesterday trying to remember Nelson. I knew they were the sons of someone, but couldn't for the life of me remember who. *CUT* Phew... glad that's out of my brain now! Thank you Ozeagle for posting the link to Nelson. I was almost going to start this topic with Nelson, but then decided on Styx because I thought John & Chuck Panozzo might not have been too well known. A little more trivia on Styx is that they are a band which includes another set of brothers but they are not twins. Is there another band out there that includes two sets of brothers?
I started this topic so I guess it is up to me to finish it, I really didn't expect it to be so hard
Bands or duos that include or are Twins
1. Styx - Babe (John & Chuck Panozzo)
2. Bros - Drop The Boy (Matt & Luke Goss)
3. The Blakeney Twins - Mad if You Don't (Gillian & Gayle Blakeney)
4. The Veronicas - 4ever (Jessica & Lisa Origliasso)
5. The Bee Gees - Words (Robin & Maurice Gibb)
6. Good Charlotte - The Little Things (Joel & Benji Madden who were the inspiration for this topic, see song #10 of the "Songs that make you feel good" topic)
7. Tegan and Sara - I Hear Noises (don't know their last name but they are definitely twin sisters from Canada)
8. Nelson - (Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection (Matthew & Gunnar Nelson)
9. The Williams Brothers - Can't Cry Hard Enough (Andy and David Williams)
10. Paul and Barry Ryan - Keep It Out Of Sight (Paul & Barry Ryan are also known as The Ryan Twins)
Barry Ryan sang the classic song Eloise, which was written by his twin brother Paul. Keep It Out Of Sight, however was written by Cat Stevens
Because I started this topic I think it would be unfair of me to select the next one, I also have no ideas :o so if custos, as the one who posted song #9, has any idea please start a new topic for us :)
