dvder, I may need Debs to confirm, but I think you'll find David Soul had another hit, though not as big, with Silver Lady.
I remember him having 2 songs out, and I'm pretty sure that was the other.

See, now you've gone and made me do it again.
What about "Are Friends Electric", and to a lesser extent "We Are Glass"?
The early eighties was chock full of Gary Numan.

Well, if Rowdy is going to get picky, so am I :D Hanson had several songs that reached at least the top 50.
10. Wind Beneath My Wings - Colleen Hewett I don't remember that song getting to No.1. Didn't Bette Midler have the hit with that song? However I think Coleen Hewett did have a No.1 hit with another song and it was called "Day By Day". Other Australian No.1's that could have been included are: Friday On My Mind - Easybeats; Original Sin - INXS; Electric Blue - Icehouse; I Touch Myself Divinyls, and what about Delta Goodrem, anyone of her songs, including "Born To Try", "Lost Without You", "Innocent Eyes", "Predicable" would have easily finished off the list.
I didn't think that topic would have been so difficult :rolleyes:
Now onto the current list. Both Rowdy and siliegrrl are correct - David Soul, Gary Numan and Hanson are not one hit wonders. I have amended the list and added one of my own:
