Hi,
I'm looking to building my own screen but decided to use screen goo to get
the most out of the screen.. problem is I don't know what to go for? white,
light grey or grey!?!?

I have an Hitachi PJ-TX100 projector and was thinking about getting the grey
paint but after enquiring about it apparently the grey paint can make the
screendoor effect a lot worse.. on the flip side, it does increase the
contrast and that's what I really want!

Does anyone know which colour will work best for me, and does anyone have
first-hand experience with this stuff?

Thanks in advance,

Sean

As far as I know the idea is to go as dark as the lumens/brightness of
your projector will allow. This is also dictated by the size of the screen
of course since brightness fades as the image size increases. I'd use some
white paint to begin and if that looks more than bright enough then make a
guess as to what shade of grey to use.

PS - I have used simple ceiling white paint and am more than happy. Have
heard others that have used goo say that the ceiling white is possibly even
better than their experiences with goo!
