hi there,

just a general inquiry about the tuning characteristics of the different
length ram pipes you can get for weber carbs... got a Valiant Charger
with 265 and i'm planning to put a triple 45 weber setup on it... but
i'd like to understand the interaction between the ram pipes and the air
filtering. who do some people run no air filters? and why not just run
ram pipes inside the airfilters? I'm thinking of the oval K&N type
filters.

thanks,

steve

Ive used the K&N filter pods (foam pods with springs inside them to stop em
collapsing) on the ram tubes on a set of side twin drafts before, worked
very well and washable as well. That'd be my pick.
