$50 over 24 months is essentially a $2 discount per month. Woopee freakin dooo!
They've been offering free installs for a while.

Actually, the money does not make that much difference to analogue - but the
digital contract (Foxtel digital subscription agreement) does!
I have already the analogue service, and agreed to change to digital when
someone phoned and made a not bad (moneywise) offer. But when the paperwork
arrived in the mail I actually read the new contract and compared it with the
old (analogue). Then I called and cancelled the change to digital - the new
contract is VERY much worse than the old one (which was not very nice to the
customer, either).
Amongst other things - YOU are liable for their use of your phone and they
explicitly mention "premium rate" calls. And if you or someone sues them for
something, even if it is their fault, YOU are liable for all their costs (seems
to include any compensation they may be ordered to pay). There are more
nasties.. have a look!
