Just in the last week or so, I have been experiencing a problem with my
Yamaha DRX-2 DVD Recorder. I have analog Foxtel input to the unit via
standard aerial input and in turn this is fed to my amp (Yamaha RXV-2400)
via S-video and again to my TV via S-video (don't have a component input on
my TV). The video signal has stopped displaying on my TV although audio can
still be heard. When I change channels, the image appears briefly then
freezes. Changing channels again causes the new channel to display briefly
then freezes again. If I attach my camcorder to the unit, I can only get a
garbled green image displaying on the screen. The menus of the recorder
display fine as does playing a DVD. I attempted recording a Foxtel program
but all it recorded was the frozen image. Audio was fine. Has the tuner in
my unit stuffed up somehow? I have reset the unit and also unplugged it and
plugged it in again but the problem remains. Occasionally the problem goes
away for short periods but returns again. Any ideas?

one other thing... I also connected the Foxtel RCA out to the video input on
the DRX-2. Same problem.
