Best this week was the r1 of an old favourite, The Omega Man. 1970s Charlton Heston post-apocalyptic sci-fi - cool but bleak - (looking forward to seeing Soylent Green again soon too). Always meant to read the original novel by Richard Matheson but thought it out of print - then I saw Borders had a copy, might just get it.

definitely goes to Reservoir Dogs.... Can never get sick of this brilliant film. If you don't own it, invest in the Region 1 version today.
A few nights ago I watched.... Devil's Advocate, I hadn't seen it for a while but glad I did a fantastic movie with a moral to it too which makes me like the movie so much. :dD

only saw LXG at the cinema this week. thus was the best and worst ... and it was very average indeed! however....
its not often i say this about a female (actresses, chicks at the gym etc...) but Peta Wilson.... was absolutely stunning! and whats more she is an aussie.. what more could a guy want :) :)
ohhh those eyes.......... *melt*

Just watched Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - no matter how many times I watch it, It's still a favourite.
However, I was quite underwhelmed at the non 16:9 enhancement on this supposed "Deluxe Collector's Edition". Oh well :rolling: :D

The best this week wa Matty Hayden's performance.. but film wise, I was quite impressed with The Karate Kid.
I've been refusing to see this film since I was 5 when it was released, but due to being a victim of Misses choice of film - I got stuck watching it, and was impressed with the story, sure the DVD quality needs a lot of work though.

Kind of a slower week than usual for me. Nothing outstanding in r1 but I did enjoy Convoy - kind of a guilty pleasure I suppose but not exactly Sam Peckinpah's finest two hours. What About Bob? had some wryly amusing moments though.

l watched commando....bit of sensless fun :)
Erin Brockovich ( as I read the cover to spell her surname ) lol..... it's a great movie but it was a bit annoying because it kept skipping a bit through the movie. :( So I got a friend to look at the disc for me and someone had dirty mitts and left prints on on it, I felt like an idiot I didn't look properly to see what was wrong with it :o But other than my brain being in derrrrr mode with it I enjoy watching it ( without finger prints ). lol

that movie is truly great. i have watched it 5 times i think and it still makes me cry streams and streams. not good ina cinema i had to use my mates popcorn cup to put all my tissues in.
I don't cry watching the movie but being a true story is one of the reasons I like it so much, but I guess some might cry watching it .......but it just makes me happy then sad then back to happy again. lol
