Gidday Folks,
The wife just won 4 concert tickets to "BIG DAY OUT" from that Pepsi competition. Problem is that us old farts aren't into going to concerts these days. The concert is on 28-01-02 at the Melbourne show grounds. More info at the link below.

I have no idea what the tickets are worth so I'm open to offers.

Thanks for your interest Jarred but someone on another board informed me that the Big Day Out tickets for Adelaide were worth $95 each. Although I don't expect to get anything near this for them, I do expect to get more than $10 each for them.
I'll assume your "mistake" was an honest one.

So what your saying Jarred is that you were aware of their full value and just wanted to rip me off.
Now your trying to blackmail me into selling you these tickets for a tenth of what they are worth.
You are truly unbelieveable. I would politely ask that you please refrain from wrecking my post further than what you already have.

no you are wrong here mate it is illegal to re-sell stuff you have won ok so your blackmailing me if i brought them tickets im sure when i got there, thier would be a line up of the 44 people that one tickets and they would tick names of one by one like rumba so there wouldnt be my name on the list it would be yours so my best offer is $30 for 2 and i will say im a friend

Jarred,
If the ticket reselling is against Pepsi's promotion policy, why did you offer to buy? In case you do fully understand the policy, you should have just pointed out this in the first place! Otherwise you are not making friends here.

You must joking. After the way you have behaved, the only reason I would sell you my tickets is be able to meet you face to face and teach you a few manners. I have cut and pasted into a file your previous attempt at blackmailing me which is highly illegal I might add.
On the other hand. My attempt to resell the tickets does not make me a criminal. At the most it will render the tickets void.
Again I ask you to refrain from continueing to ruin my post.
PS All 4 tickets have no names on them nor did the letter that accompanied them.

jarred seems to be a bit misguided about a lot of things.
he pm'd me yesterday accusing me of stealing his avatar, and saying i had to give him a DVD for it.
as i expalined to him, i made it myself, and he is not the first person to steal it.

Thanks for your support "looktall". I'd have to agree that the guy had a screw loose. Fortunately, the mods at this forum are on the ball so it didn't get too out of hand.

You might be interested to know that it took jarred maybe just 4 hours from the time he registered at the US site DVDTalk.com, to get himself suspended. It appears that he is trying to trade with pirated DVDs (namely Harry Potter).

I'll close this thread since it's gone a bit pear shaped and the seller has a new updated thread above.
