Philips DVP642-75k DVD Player is in the Myer store today, DivX was marked on the front panel, assume it will play DivX movie, the DVD player looks like the following picture, the price tag was $179

I saw it selling at Megamart also for $169 a couple of months ago.

A friend also bought it from Bega (not sure of spelling) Electronics in Melbourne for about $150 at that time.

After much research, I ended up getting the Pioneer 676A for $215 because it had better features.

Got mine from Harvey Norman, $165 about 2 months ago. Had price tag of $179, but was able to talk them down.

Not a bad player and I was happy with the price

I got mine for about $160 many months back - I think a friend of mine got it for $140 before christmas at the Good Guys
