Looking to get a new handset. I only want Nokia. It needs to be the
"business" model, very small, very long battery life, have bluetooth.
Definately NOT interested in any other functions such as camera, colours,
games etc etc.
Replacing a Nokia 6310i and the 8210. Ideal phone is a 6310i functionality
in a 8210 model.
Also, importantly, must be 100% compatible with Parrot CK 3100 bluetooth
carkit.
Any recommendation?

If Nokia and Bluetooth are two 'musts', then probably start here:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,3448,00.html
Looks like the 8910 (if you can still get it) fits your stated criteria
best, on paper.
Yes - Nokia, Bluetooth, 'business', small (well, 103x46x20 versus the 8210's
101.5x44.5x17.4)
No - camera, colour screen
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/8910
If I were you, though, I'd put up with the fact that it has extra bells and
whistles that you might not use, and get the 6230. You're more likely to
get a better deal retail, and better resale value (if that matters to you).
Sorry, no idea if it works with your hardware.

Thanks Giles!
It looks like the 8910i would be the way to go. The 6230 has some sort of
newer bluetooth that is not 100% compatible. (see
http://www.driveblue.com/(bp5b2pfzayq5ry55eymbgjmg)/download/CK3x00%20vs%20phones%20features.pdf)
I'm really not interested in extra features, and tend to use the phone until
it dies if it is a model I like.

I've been very unhappy with the continuing firmware problems with my
6230, so it might be wise to stay away (at least until Nokia get their
butts around the making stable firmware like they used to).

Out of curiosity, what types of problems have you been having with your
6230?

What version firmware do you have? I have 3.15 (yes, I know, old) and no
probs at all that I am aware of.

What's a 6.9? 69 interrupted by a period.

Rebooting frequently. Although the latest version (v4.44) is more stable
than the v4.38 it replaced, it still reboots several times per week. And
Optus Live TV wouldn't work until the v4.44 software was installed.
Compared to my old 8250, which didn't crash at all.
