I have a Telstra Prepaid Plus account.

I've just retrieved a MessageBank message. According to the Telstra call
cost service, the call duration was 2'21" and the cost was $1.45.

The PrepaidPlus website at
http://www.telstraprepaidplus.com.au/getconnected/callrates.asp says that
the cost of retrieving MessageBank messages is 45c (20c call connection +
25c). The price list says nothing about a time-based charge for retrieving
messages.

It appears that the charge for retrieving messages is in fact 20c + 25c/30
secs. This makes it one of the most expensive voicemail services in the
industry. (Compare this with Virgin's totally free voicemail service!)

Can these turkeys get ANYTHING right? Or are they deliberately slippery?
