I'd also be interested for this - I don't yet have a bluetooth dongle, but
have just started using VoIP (via Skype) to chat to my mates and would
rather buy a dongle and be able to walk around the house chatting than buy a
decent-but-cabled headset (not a lot cheaper). And then be able to synch
them too.

Ideally I want one that'll work in Linux 'n'all.... Not too much to ask is
it!

Well, I've been in the room next door to my mate with a headset chatting to
him on the phone, while he was holding both his and my phones in the other
room!

Even being able to walk around the room and carry on doing stuff while
you're on the phone is a benefit worth having - you know, for those
long-term relaxed conversations you have with a mate that you might
otherwise be having on IM. As if you were chilling out together.

Don't know if it would have worked through a floor, but if you live in a
bungalow you might be ok!

Mine works perfectly fine with a couple of rooms and walls between the
headset and the phone.
