the Shambles also play at the same venue next week. Read at your own risk.
This post is largely free of salt, fat and probably contains tiny traces of
nuts.

"The Shambles" play a two week mini-residency at the Brunswick Hotel, 140
Sydney Road, Brunswick.

Thursday November 18th and Thursday November 25th. I think we're on at
10pm.

This is a good venue with a regular clientele, so it would be the ideal
venue at which to watch us anonymously.

It seems the appropriate place to post that his band is playing.

IT'S BLOODY SPAM!

What's your definition of spam?

In any case, it's somewhat less offensive than a lot of other crud that gets
posted here. What's more, it would have passed without any further comment
had you merely ignored it (as I do for stuff I don't want to read.)
Finally, we had this discussion last time you complained, and the vast
majority indicated that they considered it was appropriate. If the natives
here change their mind, I will respect that.

No it isn't. It's sent to two newsgroups, and these are both appropriate
to the topic of the post.

If you don't like seeing posts from Mr. Oakes, might I suggest that you
learn about kill files.

No it's not! It's a guy telling us when his bands are playing. Relevent to
the groups posted in and not as irritating to everyone else as you seem to
find it. You must be easily offended. I recommend you either killfile
Stephen or take a holiday from usenet. You are obviously too fragile.

....or perhaps you're under some sort of miscomprehension. Just how much
money do you think I'm raking in every time I SPAM these newsgropes?
