Do it yourself repairs?

Hi All,

I was given a Nokia 8250. Unless I use the headset it is differcult for the
other party to hear me. Also, there is a small crack on the lcd screen (but
no big deal).

I really like this phone but for the cost of repairs I could probably buy
the same phone on ebay or second hand from some where else.

Is it easy to do self repairs on these types of phones and if so where can I
find the parts? BTW I live in Melbourne.

If your phone is connected to Telstra Mobile, beware.

A self-repair will render the phone non-approved for connection to the
Telstra network. This service condition is in the fine print at the bottom
of recent Telstra Mobile bills.
